DrawZal settings and presets

Open DrawZal’s settings with "Settings…" in the menu bar menu. The settings are split into 8 sections on the left, and the "Search Settings" field at the top finds any setting or shortcut. Changes are saved right away, and presets move your settings and shortcuts to another Mac.

When Settings opens, you can type straight into the "Search Settings" field at the top left, and ⌘F anywhere in the window jumps back to it.

Search by Korean or English names, Korean initial consonants, or key combinations such as "cmd l" or "⌘L". Change values right in the results, or use "Go to Section" to open the section that holds the setting.

How do I move my settings and shortcuts to another Mac?

Pro

In Settings › Presets, "Export Settings…" saves all settings and shortcuts, and "Export Shortcuts Only…" saves shortcuts, single keys, and the ⌃1 … ⌃0 badge text, as a .json file. On the other Mac, read it with "Import Settings…" or "Import Shortcuts Only…".

"Import Settings…" replaces every current setting with the file. Reading a shortcuts-only file with that button resets your other settings to their defaults, so use "Import Shortcuts Only…" for shortcut files.

Snapshots, the toolbar position, and update settings are not part of a preset.

How do I reset my settings?

"Reset All Settings" in Settings › Presets resets your settings, shortcuts included, to the defaults right away. There is no confirmation and no undo, so export your settings first. Update settings and the toolbar position stay as they are, and snapshots are not deleted.

To reset only shortcuts, click "Reset All to Defaults" in Settings › Shortcuts. Each row also has a button that resets it to the default.
